Why a formulated enzyme beats a fixed peel
A lot of facial menus list one peel strength and run it on everyone who books that day. That is how a client with reactive skin ends up flushed for three days, and how a client with truly congested skin leaves the chair barely touched. Tomo does not work that way. The enzyme exfoliation used in the Tulum Signature Facial is individually formulated, decided at the start of the ninety minutes once she has actually looked at the skin, not decided by whichever service was booked on the calendar.
That judgment call is the difference between a California State Board Licensed Esthetician and a menu that anyone with a product line could run. Tomo is a Skin Expert and Integrative Skin Care Coach, trained through Procell, Luxe Beauty & Body, DermaplanePRO and PMU, and the Signature Facial is where that broader training actually shows: it is the treatment built to flex around whatever the skin in the chair needs that day, rather than a fixed protocol repeated the same way every time.
This is also why the studio only takes four clients a day. Reading a face properly, choosing the right enzyme strength, and then adjusting the rest of the session around it takes time that a five-facial day does not leave room for. It is a small studio decision with a direct effect on what happens in the chair.

The order the ninety minutes actually runs in
The session opens with a deep cleansing pass, then the individually formulated enzyme exfoliation described above. From there it moves into a collagen and hydration boost, ultrasound and high frequency to work the skin at a level a hand alone cannot reach, and a light body massage that carries into the neck and shoulders rather than stopping at the jaw.
It closes with luxury masks chosen for what the skin needed earlier in the session, a further massage pass, and an oxygen hydra boost to finish. Every step is included in the $155, nothing is upsold mid treatment, and the room itself, tucked behind the KILLER HAIR salon door on Washington Blvd., stays quiet the whole way through because there is no next client waiting in the hallway.
Chapter 03
First visits, and what to do for the fortnight afterwards
If this is a first booking, Tomo generally moves new clients into the First Time Facial instead: $145, also 90 minutes, with a $100 deposit. It adds a cryo hydration boost and a grass skin finish on top of the same deep cleanse and enzyme base, which is a gentler introduction before a returning client settles into the full Signature routine.
Results tend to read at day three rather than day one, once any mild enzyme response has settled and the hydration has had time to sit in. Home care guidance is given at the end of the session so that gap is not guesswork. Clients who book regularly often move onto the 5X Tulum Facial Package, five Signature Facial and massage sessions for $675, which saves $100 on the fifth session and includes a complimentary upgrade on that final visit.
