Arrival
The studio sits inside KILLER HAIR on Washington Blvd., so the street door is the salon door. Behind it the room is dim and deliberately low on noise: a salt lamp, a starry ceiling drape, dreamcatchers on the wall. Nothing about it is a clinic waiting area, because only four people come through it in a day.
Analysis
Every session opens with a proper skin analysis rather than a product decision. That is how a client who came in about acne along her chin left knowing it was tracking her stress, and how the redness she had carried around her nose for years got treated as a separate problem. What the skin needs that day sets the enzyme, the strength of the peel and how long the extractions run.
The ritual
A deep pore cleanse, an enzyme exfoliation formulated for that visit, a collagen and hydration boost, ultrasound and high frequency, then the masks. Most sessions run 90 minutes and carry lymphatic drainage and sound bath work alongside the skin treatment, which is why people describe leaving with their neck loose as well as their face clear.
The quiet after
